Boxing Fitness is a physical full body work out, that combines boxing methods and techniques with aerobic styled fitness exercises. This class is utilises methods and techniques that professional boxers use to keep fit and stay in shape. Boxing for Fitness is a non-contact class, therefore safe for men and women of all ages (16+).
This class is a group fitness circuit, that allows participants to gain the health and fitness benefits that the sport of boxing offer, without the physical contact. In these classes we focus on proper boxing technique (including punching, blocking, countering and footwork). Classes vary every time to ensure our participants are always focused and on their toes.
With these classes you will experience a full body workout, and be involved in activities such as: skipping, partner pad drills, speedball drills, hand eye co-ordination exercises, core strength exercises, cardio vascular exercises, and upper and lower body strength work.
This class offers fast and effective results for people of all body and fitness types. If you want to have fun, shed those unwanted kilos, get fit and increase strength. Then this is the class for you!
